We fight for language justice for Indigenous peoples across colonial borders. This means, we do the following:

• Advocate and support Indigenous language revitalization and protection efforts;

• Advocate for the rights of Indigenous peoples to have competent language interpretation services and respect for our rights to speak our languages as inherent to our own laws and under international mechanisms such as the United Nations, Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UN DRIP), and any other applicable law or policies;

• Hold our language speakers with the greatest honor and respect; 

• Incorporate and share our languages in our work, art, communications, and practices; &

• Understand that like us, our languages are born of the earth, elements, and sacred places we belong to and these places need to hear our languages spoken too.
